According to this piece by The Pirate Bay’s Peter Sunde, the “Copyright Mafia” doesn’t really care about individuals sharing files online, cause there’s not a lot of money there. They would rather find a way to make Internet Service Providers liable for illegal file-sharing and sue them instead.
